Scarlett is 7 years old and has been battling leukemia since she was 2 years old! She has B cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia and was diagnosed on January 8th, 2020, when she completed 2.5 years of chemotherapy treatments.
After that 2.5 years she was doing great, then unfortunately she relapsed one week after her 6th birthday on February 7th, 2023. Scarlett then spent 9 months as an inpatient at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh last year where she underwent many aggressive rounds of chemotherapy and 3 rounds of immunotherapy. She has had multiple procedures including having her ovaries saved in case she wants to have babies of her own some day otherwise the chemotherapy was to make her body completely infertile. She still has to undergo many procedures and chemotherapy treatment through the rest of 2024.

Scarlett's daddy is currently in training for the Army and has been gone since January 2nd while her mommy is home taking care of Scarlett and her two brothers. As you can image, with no income and troubles with their furnace, the expenses are growing rapidly.
